REMOTE LESSONS ARE HERE! You can now take a golf lesson from Master Teacher Jim Waldron from your home or office, thanks to the magic of the Internet. Live sessions via Webcam/Skype are one option. You may also upload your own swing video to your Youtube account for Mr. Waldron to view and analyze. He will call you to review the results of his analysis and recommend a customized Practice Program. Or - you can email us your swing video or send any mini-DV tape by Postal Service mail.

Lesson rate - $100 hour. Most lessons take one-half hour for Mr. Waldron to view your swing video, and another half-hour to one hour to discuss his conclusions with you on the phone. Please call our office at 800-898-4563 (503-997-2063 outside USA) to make an appointment.

We are pleased to announce our new golf teaching professional certification program. For years now we have received numerous requests from around the country from teaching professionals who want to teach the Balance Point Method. Our new Level One Balance Point certification course will be held at our Portland, Oregon home base - Quail Valley Golf Course - starting in summer of 2010.The course is open to both PGA/LPGA affiliated professionals, independent teaching professionals, coaches and to qualified amateurs who plan on pursuing a career in the golf teaching industry. We are currently completing our long-awaited new DVD series of our award-winning Great Shot! golf school full golf swing training program and our companion mental game golf school, Rip It to the Target!

For the first time, we will be selling this cutting-edge golf swing improvement program to the general public. For those of you around the nation and indeed around the globe who have heard about this program but are unable to actually attend one of our cutting-edge programs, you now have the chance to own the complete set of Balance Point Golf School "model golf swing" information. Estimated viewing time - eighteen hours. Includes an audio cd by Jim Waldron and a training manual.

We expect to have the first half of Program Two completed and ready for sale here on our website and on others sites on the Web by Fall of 2010. We return in May of 2010 to our home location, Quail Valley Golf Course near Portland, Oregon for our sixteenth season of award-winning golf instruction. Golf Schools, Private Golf Schools for one or two persons, and Private Golf Lessons in Portland for adults, beginners and junior golfers are offered. Our Portland golf schools and lesson programs cover full swing mechanics, short game strokes, putting skills and the mental game of golf.

GOLF SCHOOLS IN THE WALLOWA MOUNTAINS OF NORTHEAST OREGON

For the first time, Jim Waldron will be hosting Private Golf Schools in the Wallowa Valley of Northeast Oregon, one of the most scenic alpine locations on the planet. Enterprise, Oregon is about a five and one-half drive from Portland, and a three and one-half hour drive from Boise, Spokane and the TriCities area.

The Wallowas are renowned as the "Switzerland of America", featuring a green alpine valley of lakes, rivers and streams surrounded on all sides by rugged mountain and canyon wilderness and national forest. The summer weather is ideal for golf, as well as for hiking, swimming, fishing and horse-back riding. Please see our Private Lessons page for more detailed information.
